AYHAY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
a hope for future generations

OUR CURRICULUM
Our Learning Model
At Ayhay, we offer a curriculum that nurture the whole child: spiritually, academically, and socially. Rooted in Montessori principles and Christian values, our curriculum is designed to support children through every stage of their development. Our classrooms follow a three-year age cycle: Early Childhood (ages 3–6), Lower Elementary (6–9), Upper Elementary (9–12), and Erdkinder (12–15). This structure encourages peer learning, where older students build leadership skills and younger ones benefit from their example, creating a collaborative and respectful learning community.
Our Early Childhood curriculum follows a three-year approach. Year 1 builds independence through practical life, sensory play, and Bible stories. Year 2 develops reading, early math, social skills, and creativity through art and music. Year 3 strengthens academic skills, leadership, and faith, with deeper work in language, math, geography, and science. Through hands-on learning and spiritual growth, children are joyfully prepared for primary school and life.

Our Lower Elementary curriculum builds across three years: Year 1 establishes foundations in reading, numeracy, and social awareness; Year 2 deepens skills and confidence; Year 3 emphasizes mastery, leadership, and abstract thinking. Through hands-on, Christ-centered learning, students grow spiritually, academically, and socially with increasing independence and collaborative responsibility.

Our Upper Elementary curriculum follows a three-year progression. Year 1 reinforces foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and cultural subjects. Year 2 introduces research, abstract reasoning, and collaborative learning. Year 3 deepens mastery through independent projects, advanced writing, leadership, and critical thinking. With hands-on projects, integrated studies, and spiritual guidance, students are well-prepared for the transition to early adolescence.
